Translation process description:
A translation in the selected language combination will be done by a native speaker of target language. One of the important requirements for translator selection is translator's experience in the subject field of translation. Translation will be estimated by native speaking proofreader of target language according to quality control procedures. In case if the quality control shows a necessity of proofreading, it will be done by another native speaking linguist with knowledge of the subject field. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures. A translation in the selected language combination will be done by a professional translator of target language. However, there is no available native speaking translators for the selected languages. To maintain high level of quality the translation will be proofread by native speaking proofreader of the target language having experience in the subject field of translation obligatory. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures. There is no possibility to arrange direct translation from the selected source language into target language. That is why the translation process is divided into two phases. The first phase is translation from source language into an intermediate language. The translator will be qualified native speaking translator of the intermediate language having knowledge and experience in the subject field of translation. To maintain high level of quality the translation will be proofread by native speaking proofreader of the intermediate language obligatory. After obligatory proofreading the text in intermediate language is handed over to the native speaking translator of selected target language. Phase 2 ends with obligatory proofreading by native speaking proofreader of target language having experience in the subject field of translation. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures.

Responsibility

Freelanguage is a team of professionals, and professionals are people who hold themselves responsible for results of their work. The responsibility of team is a jigsaw of individual liabilities.

The translation and other linguistic services Freelanguage provides are tools used by our customers for their personal or business purposes. This is felt as a source of personal responsibility by all Freelanguage team members.

There are no unimportant projects, for when a customer orders a service from us, it means that they need a tool for their business, work or personal matters.

The conception of responsibility is an essential part of Freelanguage approach. We feel that each member of our team and indeed the whole team should know that the customer is not just looking to have a document translated, but has their own projects to realise and their own business to conduct.

Understanding this changes our attitude to text and because the text becomes recognised as an action, then this action has to be accurate and polished. In addition it is important to emphasise that there is no 'warranty' limit on any of Freelanguage services. Every customer can come to us with questions or for clarification they feel they need to and whatever the subject of the question might be.

Protecting customer data, however, is also a responsibility, which is why in the case of queries made on projects finished more than 90 days before the query was made the original documents and translations must be provided along with the query. This is because according to the Freelanguage confidentiality agreement, when a service has been paid for and no further work has been required on the same project within 90 days of the date that it was completed by, all the files and data connected with that project will have been deleted from all our drives and cloud vaults (only statistics and accounts information will be retained).
