| Translation process description: A translation in the selected language combination will be done by a native speaker of target language. One of the important requirements for translator selection is translator's experience in the subject field of translation. Translation will be estimated by native speaking proofreader of target language according to quality control procedures. In case if the quality control shows a necessity of proofreading, it will be done by another native speaking linguist with knowledge of the subject field. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures. A translation in the selected language combination will be done by a professional translator of target language. However, there is no available native speaking translators for the selected languages. To maintain high level of quality the translation will be proofread by native speaking proofreader of the target language having experience in the subject field of translation obligatory. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures. There is no possibility to arrange direct translation from the selected source language into target language. That is why the translation process is divided into two phases. The first phase is translation from source language into an intermediate language. The translator will be qualified native speaking translator of the intermediate language having knowledge and experience in the subject field of translation. To maintain high level of quality the translation will be proofread by native speaking proofreader of the intermediate language obligatory. After obligatory proofreading the text in intermediate language is handed over to the native speaking translator of selected target language. Phase 2 ends with obligatory proofreading by native speaking proofreader of target language having experience in the subject field of translation. Before final delivery, the translation passes through quality assurance procedures. |

Quality control
Quality control is an important part of Freelanguage everyday business. Each project passes through our unified quality control process and undergoes the following procedures:- Preparation of reference materials at the project assignment stage, to assist the translator from the outset;
- Partial delivery of the project work results for interim checks and corrections;
- General check by the project manager before final delivery to ensure that the work matches the customer's requirements and is free from misprints, omissions, numerical and date errors;
- Quality and accuracy audit by a native speaker of the target language;
- Depending on results of the audit (p.4) the project is passed to a native speaking proofreader for revision;
- Recheck of the project for completeness and proofreader's work estimation;
- A final overall check for completeness and fulfillment of customer expectations is conducted by customer account manager before we deliver the project.
- Prevention is easier than cure — steps 1 and 2 of our quality control procedures are designed to ensure the translator has the right instructions and reference materials to carry out the project with confidence.
- Regular checks give us an accurate overview of the progress of the project. Steps 3, 6 and 7 are conducted in accordance with our internal controls, which makes for 97% accuracy across the whole project and reduces the time taken making checks.
- It is impossible to know a language better than a native speaker does — steps 4 and 5 are intended to polish the final version and make it sound natural to the target audience.
